{"id":6926,"date":"2020-08-16T13:46:06","date_gmt":"2020-08-16T13:46:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hexacorn.com\/blog\/?p=6926"},"modified":"2020-08-16T13:46:06","modified_gmt":"2020-08-16T13:46:06","slug":"beyond-good-ol-run-key-part-126","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hexacorn.com\/blog\/2020\/08\/16\/beyond-good-ol-run-key-part-126\/","title":{"rendered":"Beyond good ol\u2019 Run key, Part 126"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This is another quick post &#8212; this time about QT framework plugins; in fact, there is not much to write about it as it&#8217;s already fairly well documented on QT <a href=\"https:\/\/doc.qt.io\/qt-5\/deployment-plugins.html\">page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The basic idea is that you can load additional plugins to programs written in QT by using either an environment path QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS or by editing a <em>qt.conf<\/em> file (creating if it doesn&#8217;t exist). If you are using IDA you might have noticed that <em>qt.conf<\/em> can be found a program&#8217;s main directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily, plugin development has a lot of constraints and they will fail if these constraints are not met (read the article I linked to).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a growing number of QT-based applications hence this could be useful one day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is another quick post &#8212; this time about QT framework plugins; in fact, there is not much to write about it as it&#8217;s already fairly well documented on QT page.
